Production- and Environmental Policy
Changing attitudes constantly strives to contribute to a more just and equal world. Factors like poverty and vulnerability increases the risk of exploitation, and is closely linked with the current climate crisis, and a degraded environment.
These four points makes up our Production- and Environmental Policy:
1
Whenever possible, Changing attitudes will always choose fairly marked products, such as Fairtrade, over other types of products. This applies to all internal and external events, and any other possible situation where foods and drinks are served or purchased. We also encourage our members to choose the same.
2
Changing attitudes only allows vegan options to be served or purchased. This applies to all internal and external events, and any other possible situation where foods and drinks are served or purchased. The production of animals as foods is extremely straining on the environment, and so we also encourage all our members to always choose vegan options as well.
3
All products sold by Changing attitudes should always be, to the extent that it is considered possible, marked as friendly to the environment, and socially sustainable. We strive to have all our products be produced with great consideration to the environment, and to all human rights. We encourage all our members to always choose fairly produced products as well.
4
All members and staff are required to, whenever possible, always choose sustainable travel options. If we live close by, we encourage walking or riding a bike. If we live further away, trains are preferred over driving a car. All traveling must be considerate to travelers health, cost, and the actual practicality of the travel: traveling between countries normally includes flying, but then we always encourage our members and staff to be considerate in regards to when and if we choose to fly commercial.
